My Christmas Presents

This year I got a lot of chocolates and biscuits from my new colleagues for Christmas. Currently already eat til got a bit of sore throat liao so got to control and stop eating for a while haha..

Apart from these, also got a lot of nice presents from my friends, have taken photos of a few (too many to take all) more memorable ones below. :)

My big xmas present from Bee (I requested for a replacement ezlink card holder). In the end she had to trouble Aiwah to get this for me from Japan bc they couldn't find any nice ones in Singapore. I really like this new cardholder bc of the rabbit in the frame..reminds me daily of my dear departed rabbit 小仙. He was a bad tempered bunny (especially when it came to bathtime) but always ready to be petted, hv his nose rubbed and vitamins. :) Still miss him although its been quite some time since he passed away - only few days difference from my sister's pet hamster hammy..that's why haven't thought of getting any other pet rabbits or hamsters..their time with us is really too short..hmm, how come suddenly so 感慨..Ok, on to my other presents!

This year I had an early Christmas celebration with Bee & gang. We went to eat lunch on Sun, 21 Dec at Imperial Nan Bei Chinese Restaurant at Taka, then proceeded to collect our Xmas log cake from Meritius Mandarin Hotel before going to Aiwah's place for our gift exchange.


Here's a pic of our log cake, it looks nice rite? But hor, it was made of butter cream and tasted quite yucky lor..now still got people make butter cream cake ah? Aiyoh..I managed to swallow my pc of cake but the others threw theirs away after few bites..buay tahan the super strong butter flavour.. :P


We had a rather fun Xmas celebration and gift exchange but the most memorable gift was from Bee. She gave each of us a cloth hairband as small presents and each of the hairband had an animal in the middle of it! Hahah..we laughed like mad when Aiwah put hers on..u can see my hairband above on my cat toufu. ;)


In the end bc we stayed quite late, we ordered pizza at Aiwah's house too! It was an entertaining and fun day even though it was quite tiring when you remembered you had to work the next day. :P


p.s. Bee told me that Aiwah took a pic of my mug charms after she started using it in Japan so I downloaded the pic here.. so happy someone using it liao. :) In fact, I also donated 8 of them during my office care and share event and got people buy or chose it as xmas gifts so got "man zhu gan". :)

In case my friends still not sure how to use them, Can actually also hang at the bottom of the mug handle one hor :) Now looking forward to the New Year holidays although quite sad Christmas so fast over..haiz..

Christmas is coming!

Christmas is coming soon! After all the headaches of what to buy for who, wrapping of gifts and what to make for this year, the time is finally here! :)


My craftwork this year is....drumroll...mug charms! :)
Have been asked by a lot of friends and colleagues "Are they earrings?" Hahah..can't blame them bc they are indeed made from the earrings loop. I made 8 different designs (ie. charms) this year but think the most popular one is the gold reindeer one.


I also took this pretty picture of the xmas tree in Bugis junction (with my HP) while I was having dinner with Ban & Quek.


Here's a pic of my nephew too! He's really getting bigger and heavier by the day haha.. I got him a gum toy which could vibrate as a Christmas present and my sis passed it to him before I could wrap it ..in the end he made a lot of noise while playing with it bc it vibrated everytime he chewed on it too vigorously :P
